Jenna James Mullins is an Assistant Location Manager at Hollywood Local 399. She was born and raised in Detroit, MI and moved to Los Angeles in 2017. She is a second generation Teamster, her grandfather having been a Detroit Hoffa era Teamster driver retiring in the 1970’s. Jenna has been active in LGBTQ+ activism since 1996. She held a long corporate career as an Operation Manager and International Territory Sales Manager before starting her first Teamster job in 2022. Jenna brings a powerful mix of experience and tools to the LGBTQ+ Caucus.

Jenna is happily married to a cis-gender female, has five children, two grandchildren. and two rescue dogs. Besides hiking, swimming and visits to the beach, Jenna also sings, writes music, and is an ex-Olympic level cyclist. 

Jenna states, “I’m excited to get this important opportunity to work with the Teamster LGBTQ+ Caucus and Trans Action Committee under the HRDC to tirelessly campaign for inclusion and diversity in the American workplace. As a transwoman that suffered immensely due to social stigma and past/current exclusionary federal and state policies which led to discrimination and exclusion in the workplace for LGBTQ+ people, you have my personal commitment to work towards national change by attacking unfair legislation and creating opportunities for those previously discriminated against based on gender identity and sexual orientation. I am a proud Teamster that looks forward to joining hands with my brothers and sisters to bring diversity and inclusiveness into the workplace.”
