Chris Fuentes, Hollywood Teamsters L-399
26 Year Film Location Scout, Hollywood Teamsters L-399, Chris was elected to the Teamsters LGBTQ+ Caucus Board of Directors in 2022 and appointed President at the board’s conference organizational meeting. Chris has been active in LGBTQ and social justice organizing through many campaigns for equality, civil rights and progressive causes.
Chris serves on Teamsters Local 399 Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Task Force.. Recently, Chris realized a long-time goal of advancing Teamster LGBTQ+ VISIBILITY with TEAMSTER participation in the 50th LA PRIDE parade, on June 12th, over 100 Teamsters, Allies, Family & Friends marched with the JC-42 TEAMSTER Semi along the Hollywood Walk of Fame as 125,000 people cheered us on “GO TEAMSTERS!”
Chris’s goals for the LGBTQ+ Caucus going forward are;
- Regional Board Representation, Membership Growth & Motivation.
- Visibility within Teamster org. , Outreach & Messaging at large.
- Partnership Development with Allies & Orgs.
- NEW Website Development
- Central Caucus Conference- Washington, DC : ‘DC’23: Nov 12-15, 2023
Chris works in the Motion Picture and Television industry as a Location Scout and Manager, Chris recently started Season 5 of ABC/Hulu’s “Good Trouble” a spin-off of “The Fosters” created, Executive Produced Out & Proud Actor Joanna Johnson, Directed by an inclusive roster of professionals, featuring LGBTQ+ themes and diverse current storylines.
