Please welcome Elbe Lieb (she/they), the newly elected Mid-West Director for the LGBTQ International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT) Board.

Lieb is a seasoned UPS Teamster (LU-135) with 27 years of experience, showcasing dedication to workers’ rights.

Raised in Northern Illinois, Lieb joined UPS in 1996 and holds a BA in Political Science from DePaul University. She has actively participated in union work, campaigns for better working conditions, and democratic reform. Lieb is also a prominent advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, co-founding a trans support group and working with civil advocacy groups. In her new role, Lieb aims to bring her experiences and advocacy to support and uplift the members of the Teamster LGBTQ+ Caucus.
