Dear Esteemed Members LGBTQ+ IBT Caucus,

We are thrilled to introduce our newly appointed Southwest Director of the LGBTQ+ IBT Caucus,
Doraifay Estrada (LU-399).

Doraifay brings a wealth of invaluable experience, making her well-suited for this significant role. She
has spent impressive years as a pioneer in the Teamsters LGBTQ+ community. This fusion of experiences
has fostered a profoundly enriched understanding of diversity and representation. This unique outlook
will be crucial in strategizing and implementing programs to further enhance our commitment to
inclusivity, representation and equality.

Driven by the resilience, unity, and strength of our LGBTQ+ community, our new director looks forward
to fostering open dialogues, advocating proactively for policies reflecting our shared aspirations and
providing an understanding ear to all members.

Even as we celebrate the substantial strides made by Doraifay as a Teamster of Local 399, we are aware
that there is still much work to unfold. In Doraifay’s new capacity, we assure that she is dedicated to
represent every one of you effectively! She will ensure your voices resonate and persistently advocate
for unity, equality and pride in all our endeavors!
