Since joining the Teamsters in March 2009, she has held various leadership positions, including her current role as the elected Chair of the Teamsters 1150 Pride Caucus. In this capacity, she empowered LGBTQIA+ union members, fostered inclusivity, and created a supportive community within the organization.

Additionally, her involvement in the Letter 35 joint committee has allowed her to champion open- mindedness, diversity, and innovation within the workplace. She embraces new ideas and perspectives, working to improve the implementation and outcomes of provisions to benefit all
union members.

Furthermore, as part of the negotiations committee in 2022, she played a vital role in negotiating the contract between the Union and Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin company. Representing over 4500 union members, she successfully safeguarded the interests of the LGBTQIA+ community while ensuring the industrial and economic well-being of all members.

She resides in Connecticut with her wife, Lisa, and son, Grayson. Being a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, she understands the unique challenges faced by individuals and families like her own. This personal connection fuels her passion for advocating for change and promoting inclusivity.
