The Board of Directors of the Teamsters National LGBTQ+ Caucus has voted unanimously to postpone our DC’23 conference and Queer Labor Rally, which were previously scheduled for November 12th thru 15th. We will provide updates on the new dates in due course.

This past year has been a landmark one for LGBTQ+ Teamsters. We have never before received such strong support from our national leadership as we have under the current OZ Administration, including General President Sean M. O’Brien, Western VP Lindsay Dougherty, and HRDC Director Anthony Rosa.

We’ve accomplished significant growth, tripling our membership and nearing the goal of having representation in every state.

We are excited to welcome our new Regional Director, Kim Vargas from LU-1150. Additionally, we’re actively searching for regional directors in the Pacific Northwest and Southern region. If you have the dedication, energy, and enthusiasm to help advance our mission of empowering LGBTQ+ Teamsters and all workers, we encourage you to reach out.

We look forward to seeing you at our events in the summer of ’24. In the meantime, we hope you’ll join us at our LGBTQ+ Caucus Regional events and national virtual meetings.
